How to contact the Epika IT Helpdesk

The Epika Technologies IT Team is here to support you, our end users, with your IT related issues and concerns. To manage cases, we have implemented a ticket-based support system called Jira. Submitting tickets to the Helpdesk ensures that your request/issue is captured, tracked and documented. Also, it ensures that anyone on the Helpdesk team can see and respond to the ticket, instead of emailing them directly.

When submitting a ticket, it is best to include as much detail as possible to assist us with resolving your request/issue as quick as we can. If we have questions or need more information, we will reach out.

Information to include

  1. Descriptive subject of the issue

  1. In the body of the email the following details should be provided if possible.

a.      Explanation of what you were trying to do when the issue happened

b.      When was the last time it worked (if ever)

c.      Does it happen every time you try?

d.      Screenshots of any error message you may have received

e.      Anything you have attempted to resolve/fix the issue on your own

f.        Contact details other than your email

Ways to contact the Helpdesk

  1. Send an email to helpdesk@epika.io. This will create a ticket in our queue.

  1. Call the Helpdesk at 615-205-5232. This will ring several of the Helpdesk team lines. If we are unable to answer for any reason, please leave a voicemail with all the information and it will create a ticket for you in our queue

  1. Login to the Helpdesk Portal at: https://it.help.epika.io/servicedesk/customer/portal/3

a.      You would have received an invite from the ‘Epika Technology Helpdesk’ looking like below.

b.      Please complete and click on the link in the mail. The link will take you to a sign-up screen that looks like this:

  1. Complete the form by filling in your name and a secure password.

Jordan Wilson

Hey everyone, my name is Jordan Wilson. I’m originally from Charlotte NC, but Nashville is now home to my family and I for half a year now and we are so excited to be here. With a solid background in IT support and helpdesk operations, I've spent six fulfilling years at Geek Squad, proudly rising to the role of Double PC Agent. My journey in technology isn't just professional; it's a personal quest to discover where my passion truly lies within the industry.

Beyond the office, I find joy in spending time with my wife, son, and our golden doodle, Chewy and no, his name isn’t Chewy because he eats everything but rather, he looks similar to Chewbacca from Star Wars. Music is a big part of my life too – as a church musician, I love playing electric guitar every Sunday but also at various events. And when it's time to unwind, you'll often find me diving into the immersive worlds of video games, a hobby I've cherished since childhood. I look forward to getting to know everyone and becoming a valuable part of this team.

I love to travel. I love being dropped off in a foreign land and seeing how I will survive. Other hobbies include sports(diehard), being outdoors, and of course...technology.

 

Austin Johnson

I'm a Nashville native with a passion for learning how things work and finding solutions to problems. No surprise that combination landed me a career in IT. From taking apart my toy chest as a child, to cutting up a pool table as a tween, I now find myself fixing my daughters cracked tiara, my sons power wheels, my wife’s iPhone, and all sorts of IT problems (when time permits).
